READ THE BURDAH TOUR 2021 DIARIES BY SHAYKH AS’AD ALI
The second in London, and this time the East. Walthamstow Masjid were one of the first to invite us, and they picked a Friday to which we accepted.
Myself and @sayyidsamdani both had to lead Jumuah in Greater Manchester, and from there we left immediately for London. We decided to stop by in Birmingham but due to traffic we weren’t able to. The Masjid facilitated for us very well, we went to the basement, got changed and then went into the main hall where they set up a beautiful stage for us.
It’s the first time we felt like we were on “tour” 😅backstage entrance and the lot of it.
Nevertheless, Alhamdulillah it was a beautiful gathering, many were in attendance. Nizam was at his brilliant best again and this was the first gathering where @sayyidsamdani introduced his solo in honour and praise of Sayyiduna Ali, may Allah be pleased with him.
It was the start of a long weekend…
