READ THE BURDAH TOUR 2021 DIARIES BY SHAYKH AS’AD ALI
The opening event of the National Burdah Tour was held in Birmingham at @sbcmasjid on Friday 1st October. Alhamdulillah the turn out was amazing. The Masjid was completely full with lovers of the Prophet ﷺ and they all sat throughout the 2 hours of the recital, reciting along & engaging with the beautiful poem of the Cloak.
A special thanks to Shaykh @asrarrashidofficial for hosting us, and delivering a small talk prior to the 10th chapter & the Finale about the importance of the poem, the reason for it’s name, and giving us advice about how to conduct ourselves in light of the Burdah in order to become successful Muslims.
We thank everyone who turned up. It was great to put faces to names and meet many of you. We hope to see you soon again.
